  • How should I store Visbiome®?

    • Store at (4-8°C). Do not freeze.
      Visbiome can be stored at room temperature for up to one week without adversely affecting potency.

  • Do I need a prescription to buy Visbiome?

    • No prescription is required; however, Visbiome should always be used under the supervision of a physician.
  • Gluten, Kosher, and Dairy Status?

    • Visbiome is gluten-free and kosher.
    • Contains milk. Visbiome may contain trace amounts of lactose (less than 0.1g per 100g) and dehydrated skim milk or milk protein (casein and beta-lacto globulin of less than 2mg/kg). 

 

Safety

      • Does Visbiome have any drug interactions?

        Certain strains contained in Visbiome may be inactivated by some types of antibiotics. Preferably do not consume Visbiome within 4 hours after taking antibiotics.

      • What should I tell my doctor before receiving Visbiome?

        • Before receiving Visbiome you should tell your doctor if you:
        • Are on antibiotics.
        • Are pregnant or lactating.
      • What are the possible side effects of Visbiome?

        • You may experience bloating during the first few days after starting Visbiome as your intestinal microflora changes. If this occurs, you may need to reduce daily consumption to allow for adjustment. Please consult with your physician if you experience bloating.
      • Does Visbiome contain milk or dairy ingredients?

        • Contains milk. Visbiome may contain trace amounts of lactose (less than 0.1g per 100g) and dehydrated skim milk or milk protein (casein and beta-lacto globulin of less than 2mg/kg).

                  • Why is Visbiome stored cold?

                    • Visbiome is shipped and stored cold to prevent elevated temperature exposure which could inactivate some of the live bacterial strains.
                    • Visbiome is stable at room temperature for up to one week without affecting potency.
                  • What if my product arrives at room temperature?

                    • Visbiome is shipped with frozen ice packs to ensure it is maintained at temperatures at or below 26° Celsius. Your product may arrive at or around room temperature, depending on ambient conditions.
                    • Provided that Visbiome does not arrive hot or is not exposed to excessive heat for more than one week, it will maintain potency.
                    • Please call Customer Service if you believe your product has been exposed to excessive heat at 844-488-4325. 

 

Dosing and Dietary Management with Visbiome

                • Why does Visbiome contain 8 strains of bacteria?

                  • The strains contained in Visbiome® have been selected not only for their specific individual characteristics, but also for their synergistic activities. They work as a close team to perform what single strains or other combinations of strains cannot do.
                • How should I take Visbiome®?

                  • Consult with your physician and take Visbiome exactly as instructed.
                  • Visbiome Powder can be mixed with any cold non-carbonated beverage or any cold food, such as yogurt or applesauce, and consumed. 
                  • Consult with your physician before altering daily consumption of Visbiome.
                  • You may experience bloating during the first few days after starting Visbiome as your intestinal microflora changes. If this occurs, you may need to reduce daily consumption to allow for adjustment. Please consult with your physician if you experience bloating.
                • How long can Visbiome® be used?
